CIE is part of Cambridge Assessment, a department of the world renowned University of Cambridge in the UK, which operates in 157 countries across the world.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span style=\"color: #8dc63f;\">Cambridge Checkpoint<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>Check point tests provided by CIE are specially designed for students aged about 14 years and are available in English, Mathematics and Science; these tests can be taken after grade VIII.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span style=\"color: #8dc63f;\">IGCSE \u2013 \u2018O\u2019 Level<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>International General Certificate of Secondary Education (the equivalent of Class X in Indian Boards) &#8211; \u2018O\u2019 &#8211; Ordinary Level is a qualification for students aged primarily between 14 and 16; this leads directly to other international programmes such as Cambridge International A and AS Levels, US Advanced Placement and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. It also prepares students well for Indian +2 examinations.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span style=\"color: #8dc63f;\">\u2018AS\u2019 Level<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>AS &#8211; Advanced Subsidiary Level (the equivalent of Class XI in Indian Boards) is a qualification for students aged primarily between 16 and 18 requiring one year of study \u2013 an additional year leads to a full \u2018A\u2019 Level. The AS Level represents the first half of a full level course.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span style=\"color: #8dc63f;\">\u2018A\u2019 Level<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>A &#8211; Advanced Level (the equivalent of Standard XII in Indian Boards) is a qualification for students aged primarily between 17 and 19. \u2018A\u2019 Levels are accepted as proof of academic capability for entry into universities all over the world.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span style=\"color: #8dc63f;\">Note:<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>IGCSE is exclusively meant for our NRI parents\/aspiring Indian parents to help globetrotters start young.
